This page explains what personal information SIABID D&P LTD collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and look after you as a customer.
Who we are
SIABID D&P LTD is registered in England & Wales, company number 15798165. We trade from Unit 5, Felling Business Centre, Green Lane, Gateshead NE10 0QX. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

What we collect
- When you enquire or book a demo: your name, shop name, phone number, email address, and anything you tell us in your message.
- When you buy from us: your business name and address, delivery details, what you ordered, and payment and invoice records.
- When you contact us about a guarantee or parts: details of your grill and the problem, so we can help.
We don't take orders or payments through this website. All orders and payments are arranged with us directly.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo, because you asked us to.
- To supply your grill, deliver it, and honour the guarantee, because that's part of our agreement with you.
- To keep accounts and tax records, because the law requires it.
- We will only send you news or offers if you've said you want them, and you can stop them at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing. We only pass it on when we need to:
- Finance companies, only if you ask to pay by finance, so they can process your application.
- Delivery companies, only if we use one. We normally deliver grills ourselves, but if we use a delivery service, we give it your name, address and phone number so it can deliver.
- Our accountant and HMRC, for tax and legal records.
- Our website and email providers, who store information on our behalf. [Name your website host and email provider.]
How we keep it safe
Customer details are kept in encrypted files that only SiaBid staff can access.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a sale: deleted after [12 months].
- Customer and order records: kept for 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for tax purposes, and for as long as your guarantee or free parts cover lasts if that is longer.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Just email sales@siabid.com. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
